As a leader in Brophy's Soles2Souls initiative, Leo works to support people well beyond the walls of his school. What brings him the most joy, he says, is seeing others feel valued and knowing he had a part in that. It's a simple motivation — and a powerful one.
Leo has been a BCF recipient since his freshman year. The support, he reflects, has been about far more than paying tuition. It's given him access to opportunities and a community that helped him grow in confidence and leadership. Without BCF, he says, his path would have looked very different.
"It's not just financial support," he says. "It's an investment in who I'm becoming." Next fall, Leo will attend Boston College, where he'll study Philosophy on the Pre-Law track. He's excited to keep growing, keep challenging himself, and build a future where he can give back.
