On the mats at Brophy, Jared competes in wrestling. Off campus, he hikes, works out, and finds meaning in the everyday moments of family life. What drives him, he says, is connection: with a team, a school club, or the people he loves.
As a BCF recipient since his freshman year, Jared has been able to access experiences that have shaped his sense of purpose. He traveled to Puebla, Mexico to learn about environmental sustainability and to Nogales to advocate for migrant rights. Along the way, he discovered a passion for sports and nutrition that he hopes to carry into his future.
Next year, Jared begins the college application process. Where he lands is still unknown. His potential isn't. |
