Cristian’s journey with the Brophy Community Foundation (BCF) didn’t start at Brophy; it started in middle school. As a recipient at St. Gregory’s Catholic School, Cristian was given access to private education at a time when his family couldn’t make it happen alone. That investment has followed him every step of the way.

“These aspirations would not have been reality had I not received financial aid through tax credits from generous donors within the community.”

Today, Cristian has channeled his energy into the community. He’s been a fixture in Souls2Soles and Saving Amy, organizations that reflect his deep belief in showing up for others. He now gives back with fellow BCF recipients and serves in ways he says bring him joy.

“Community service brings me joy because it allows me to have new, tangible opportunities with people every single day. It’s a philosophy that has shaped not just my high school years, but the path I’m choosing for his future.”

This fall, Cristian is hoping to attend Santa Clara University as a member of their Honors Program, majoring in Business Law with the goal of becoming a corporate attorney.
